Co-composed with Jonathan Levi Shanes, we worked to create the dark, quirky atmosphere Jay Lowi required for this comedy thriller. Part homicidal detective story, part high school drama and antics, this score found a voice in a strange, quasi-romantic waltz and unusual instrumentation. An emphasis on clarinet, a small string section, flute, and strange, uncommon instruments like the dulcitone give this score a bit of a unique flair.
