I had to keep this under wraps for nearly two whole years, and I'm incredibly excited to announce my involvement with The Matrix: Resurrections! In fact, it was The Matrix: Reloaded which transformed my interest in film music into a desire to make it my career, so to be involved with the franchise is indeed a dream come true. I had the honor of continuing my work with composers Johnny Klimek and Tom Tykwer, primarily orchestrating over 30 minutes of material (and composing a little bit too)!
This was an especially large project, with layers of recording applied over time, requiring more detail and expanding my boundaries as an orchestrator and composer, challenging me in ways I had never been challenged before - even for just my small contribution.
If you look back on older posts, you'll see when I went to Abbey Road for the first time in early 2020 (Link here)- that was for this movie! That and other recording sessions were an absolute thrill, and Warner Brothers are truly an impressive studio to work with.
