PREMIER New Music and Dance Collective
A premier of two electronic pieces, “Green Piston Hallway” and “Thugs of the Universe” to modern dance.
PREMIER “History of Chico”
Commissioned by the City of Chico, this piece musically depicts the founding of Chico from the Native American tribe that was initially there up to the beginning of California State University Chico.
PREMIER “Fanfare for Wind Ensemble”
Written for and performed by the UCSB Wind Ensemble.
PREMIER Choreographed by Abby Linton
An electronic work titled “Bloop” written with fellow composer Melyssa Jewell for dancer Abby Linton, who choreographed and danced to it with a troupe of 6 dancers.
PREMIER of orchestral concert work “Trebia: Transitus Hannibalis”
The piece was written for an orchestral competition, and musically depicts Hannibal’s crossing of the Alps as he begins his attack upon Rome, beginning with the city of Trebia. Also won an Honorary Mention Corwin Award.
PREMIER “Kings and Angels Enjoying the Bells”
A christmas medley commissioned by the Chico Community Band, involving a joint performance by the Band and the Glenn Chorale.
